Course length
This course has 5 x 5 hours self-paced learning followed by a live 2 hour session. So you need to allocate 5-6 hours in between each live session. A total of approx 35 hours Convert to your time zone.Course dates
You will need to be available for live sessions from 7-9pm Irish/ UK Time on the following dates:
13th Feb, 27th Feb, 13th Mar, 27th Mar, 10th April as well as allocating your own time in between sessions to complete the self-paced course content. This course explains the many functions behind stimming and what the Autistic person is communicating through their stims. Stimming is Autistic language. We communicate through movement and sounds first. Words are our second language.
This session is ideal for Autistic people themselves, but also useful for teachers, SNAs, family members, therapists and employers.
