    Exploring Stimming

    This course explains the many functions behind stimming and what the Autistic person is communicating through their stims. Stimming is Autistic language. We communicate through movement and sounds first. Words are our second language. 

    This session is ideal for Autistic people themselves, but also useful for teachers, SNAs, family members, therapists and employers.

    Welcome to GET KONNECTED – our online program for professionals who support Autistic kids and teens socially.

     

    Course length

    This course has 5 x 5 hours self-paced learning followed by a live 2 hour session. So you need to allocate 5-6 hours in between each live session. A total of approx 35 hours Convert to your time zone.

    Course dates

    You will need to be available for live sessions (dates and times below) as well as allocating your own time in between sessions to complete the self-paced course content.

    You can mix and match if you like and attend some of Evaleen’s and some of Yael’s sessions. Anyone around the globe is welcome to attend any of the courses if the time suits you. Evaleen’s dates: Thursdays: 10th July, 24th July, 7th Aug, 21st Aug, 4th Sept 8-10pm Irish/UK Time   All sessions take place online on Zoom. ** If selecting a payment plan then please ensure you keep up to date with your payments.
